James Kernen has seventeen years of cross-disciplinary experience performing internal and external audits, information systems audits, information systems security roles, fraud investigations, computer forensics, other investigations, and accounting related positions, domestically and abroad. Mr. Kernen currently works for KPMG, LLP in their Advisory Group. Prior to joining the KPMG, Mr. Kernen served as the Vice President of Internal Audit and the Director of IT Security for a public company. Mr. Kernen also worked as a licensed investigator for an Arizona-based private investigation firm. Mr. Kernen is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
