US Department of Defense (DoD) directive 8570.01 names ISACA's Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certifications among those approved for DoD information assurance (IA) professionals. To meet the needs of DoD employees, ISACA provides discounts on exams, fees and preparation materials, and is also able to establish new exam centers virtually anywhere in the world where there is an interest.
